No Complement Fixation Test (CFT) to detect antibodies against Chlamydia any longer

Unfortunately, the manufacturer of CFT reagents has now stopped producing essential reagents.

Therefore, from March 15, 2025, we will no longer be able to carry out the complement fixation test (CFT) to detect antibodies against Chlamydia
For the detection of infections in pigs, ruminants and also pets (dogs and cats), we offer direct detection of Chlamydia species using real-time PCR.

Depending on the clinical symptoms (reproductive disorders or conjunctivitis), specimens should be taken from the affected organ system (genital swab, conjunctival swab, placenta, fetal liver, lung, spleen, genital organs).
